This technology concept pertains to the creation of organs and bone structures that are clear, that allow optogenetics sequencing to occur. Optogenetics is the process of interacting with neurons and cells using light waves, and in the case of neurons it's possible to read when a specific subset of neurons are firing, and it may even be possible to make the neurons fire using specific types of light in a precise way. The picture above shows clear skin and muscles, that would allow for showing internal organs such as blood vessels and bones. Studies of creating clear organs and bone structures could occur by modifying DNA sequences in animals such as mice, however there is no known solution for this issue at this time, however it may be possible to build tissues and bone-like structures that are clear simply by using 3D printing, and then implanting the bones or organs into human beings.
