This technology would allow the writing to data storage media on the ground or in flight or on a ship or in space, from space, by writing to the media using radio frequency or light wave transmissions, such as writing data to NVRAM or Optical Media or Magnetic Media from space. This would allow overwriting data that is already stored on certain types of media, such as NVRAM, such as loading a new system by triggering a reboot from space, to load a new operating system from space, alone.
