This technology pertains to the use of geospatial light detection to get a reading on light that is passing through a selected part of space. This may pertain to the reading of laser equipment that is transmitting light through the air, and the geospatial light sensing equipment is able to read the laser light and determine the type of laser, and also if there is any information contained within the light transmission, without actually physically placing any mirror or optical collection device in the path of the light, such that the geospatial sensor technology works through reading the light without interfacing with the light in the physical dimension of matter in the line of sight of the light.
