MCE123 - Technology Development

Super-Magnetic Trampoline Ship Launcher

This technology pertains to the use of super-magnetism to propel a spaceship upwards, using combinations of super-magnetic fly wheels and counter-rotating super-magnetic gears. The super-magnetism from the fly wheel is focused under the space craft and the counter-rotating gears control the time period of the exposure of the fly wheel. This type of technology would also have the capability of launching conventional jet aircraft from an aircraft carrier, with acceleration speeds of reaching Mach 15 within less than one millisecond. The technology works through focusing a pulse of energy that bounces the precise object at a rate that exceeds the opposite of the forces of gravity at that specific location. A technology that would improve this launcher is the use of super-magnetic capacitors on both the launcher and the spacecraft. For instance, the use of a super-magnetic capacitor that unleashes a force that opposes the launcher at the same precise time as the launcher releases the super-magnetic force from the fly wheel and the capacitor.
