Windows Restart Request Improvement

The reset request, such as experienced in Windows 7, should be updated to allow a time window greater than 4 hours, to schedule the restart. Obviously, when you're working on something important, you don't want your system to restart just because there are updates available.

We believe it has changed slightly in Windows 10 - and Windows 10 requires less restarts than Windows 7 for Updates - which is a major improvement.

It is unlikely that Microsoft would make the changes to previous versions of Windows, since Windows 7 only has about 3 more years of support left before it is retired. (2017-05-11 10:47PM EST) Protection Status Site Protected by SiteLock
