Automatic Prescription Refill Request System

There should be a system that automatically requests the refill of necessary medications, from doctors, in the case that the patient forgets to ask the doctor(s) for the refill request, if the medication is necessary for the functionality of the patient within normal operating parameters, or if there would be severe side effects from stopping the medication.

This is especially prevalent on weekends, when doctors don't usually check their refill line.

Commonly, doctors will require 48-hours notice to refill a prescription, but there are cases where patients don't think to check to see that there are more refills before the refill date, and a system like this would be beneficial.
