Introduction to Optical Computing

Increase L1 Cache, Basic Electronic CPU, All Signaling on System Bus Transverses Optical Systems

This system would basically replace the electrical system bus with optical routing inside the PC Boards, in which the optical routes would transmit the data from one point to another, and the delay would be the transmission of the light, which could move over longer paths at faster rates than electricity.

Basically, it would just increase the L1 cache in the CPU, which would be an advanced CPU with more memory on the CPU chip its self, such as using nano-towering technologies – like the towers of carbon atoms that can be built using carbon structures – and basically have an enormous amount of L1 cache or registers on the CPU, and then have optical signaling as the backbone of the systems bus technology.
