This technology pertains to the use of a series of optical lens to re-direct sunlight into a light amplifier that converts the solar energy into both solar energy that is stored in a solar capacitor and solar battery system, and conversion of solar light into electrical energy that is stored in an electrical power system. The lens is able to rotate automatically based on the position of the satellite to the sun. This system is able to collect a greater amount of solar energy comparatively to other types of solar cells, such as solar cells on wings. The lens system magnifies the light from the sun into a focal point to concentrate the light collection on one light collection and conversion system, rather than a lot of smaller light collection and conversion devices that may not all be in sunlight at the same time. This satellite solar power system with the focal lens configuration offers enough power to run ion drives and a full powered satellite with multiple device configurations.
