Plastic Jet Engine Technology
This technology pertains to the development of plastic jet engines, or jet engines that are made from composite plastic or carbon materials, such as hardened plastic carbon materials, like carbon fiber technology. The jet engines would have much less weight that aluminum or steel jet engines, so they would be able to accomplish more thrust or lift that metal jet engines. They could be stationed vertically in aircraft or spacecraft to make them take off vertically, without a launch assist vehicle. They could be used in smaller aircraft such as vehicles that turn into aircraft, and these plastic jet engines could run off of electricity with solar power or with battery compartments, to be able to fully power an aircraft with electricity, rather than with jet fuel.
