There should be a requirement with fireworks booths, and with other portable stands, such as newsstands, and other stands with flammable materials, that they be outfitted with a portable automatic fire extinguishing system. An example of where this technology would have been suitable was the fireworks market explosion in Mexico.
The systems could use small tanks of fire extinguishing materials, that are based on the type of fire potential – whether chemical or standard type, and the system would basically connect nozzles to the tank that would be portable, about the size of a BBQ gas tank.
Another suitable use for this technology would be in fairgrounds and the likes, in portable food preparation vehicles / facilities.
