Laser systems that can accurately treat the areas in the brain that are affected by Alzheimer’s or other neurological conditions that cause physical changes in the brain, by correcting the sequences of the neurons and/or stimulating repair of the neurons and their logical functions. The process may also require the use of nano particles that bind to damaged neurons and grow new nerve cells. Laser treatment can also be used in other types of brain surgery, such as brain transplants that repair parts of the brain that have been removed due to tumors. The process of optogenetics allows light to interact with neurons to read and write their conditions, which in the future may be used to restore parts of the brain that have no activity without invasive brain surgery.
