MCE123 - Technology Development

Speed Trap Networked License Plate Readers

This invention pertains to a system that would network together all government vehicles, i.e. police, fire, EMS, with license plate readers, that would be able to detect speeding vehicles as they pass in-between the vehicles, like an automatic speed trap system. This would be able to catch vehicles that are speeding, that are smart enough to slow down when they see police cars. It's a simple calculation to determine if the vehicle has been speeding. Everything short of there being multiple vehicles with the same license plate, and then you would pull those over as well.
